Japan is an island country. It consists of the main islands of Hokkaido, Honshu, Shikoku, Kyushu, and Okinawa, and more than 6,800 smaller islands of various sizes. Its surface area totals 377,976 square kilometers. Japan’s total population in 2020 was 125.71 million. This ranked 11th in the world and made-up 1.6 percent of the world’s total. Japan’s population density measured 340.8 persons per square kilometer in 2015, ranking 11th among countries or areas with a population of 10 million or more.
Japan is the most advanced and peaceful country in the world. During the economic boom, Japan rapidly became the world’s second-largest economy (after the United States). Japanese people are very hardworking, friendly, sincere, and helpful. There are over one hundred thousand Nepalese people residing in Japan with different resident statuses like businessmen, students, workers, dependents, cooks, long-term residents, etc.
Without sufficient Japanese communication knowledge, it is very difficult to reside in Japan. Also, we should be more disciplined, more punctual, and obedient to get succeed. Japan encourages you to be innovative, creative, and independent.
Japan is facing a declining birth rate and an increasingly aging population. So, the Japanese government made the policy to accept more foreign students and workers in various fields to defend against the workers’ shortage and contribute to the economic development of Japan.
If we have proper Japanese language knowledge and any work skill, we will be independent and can adjust to Japanese society. We are ourselves we make our own ‘value’, for without any skill or knowledge no country will provide you the opportunity to go there.
